Description:
Series 36" of the Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments Collection is a major project to record the complete works of 18th century French composer Jacques Dufry's "Clavusan Pieces" (4 volumes) on the museum's treasured Blanche harpsichord, in succession with the next volume "37". This is a major project to record all the pieces on the Blanchet harpsichord, one of the greatest treasures of the museum. This disc, the first part of the project, includes the first and fourth volumes of the collection. The elegant music that colored the Rococo taste of 18th century France is brought back to life today through the brilliant fingerings of master musician Shinichiro Nakano. This is the museum's compilation project that allows you to enjoy "18th century France" itself on the original instrument that lived in the same era as Dufry. ALM RECORDS/Kojima Recording
