These earrings by Louise Mary combine beautiful amethyst with flared silver tube sections. Louise flares each silver section individually with a doming punch, so each piece is ever so slightly different, much like the sections of a bamboo cane, which inspired this design.

Amethyst with its beautiful purple colouration is a prized gemstone of the quartz family. Amongst its healing properties it is thought to relieve stress, dissolve negativity, alleviate grief and sadness, be healing and protective, and is considered a gemstone of peace. Amethyst is also the birthstone for February.

These earrings measure approximately 3cm from the top of the earring hook to the bottom of the drop.
