Macbeth, the opera "Macbeth", a true drama from Teatro Massimo, in which Macbeth, seduced by a witch's prophecy and a power-hungry wife, kills the king and takes the life of his friend, while the wife goes mad and Macbeth himself is on his way to ruin as the impossible prophecy comes true...the title role is sung by Roberto Frontali. Roberto Frontali, a virtuoso verdi baritone, beautifully portrays the duality of Macbeth's arrogance and cowardice, while the young Anna Pirozzi, who made a stunning debut as Abigaille in "Nabucco" under Muti at the 2013 Salzburg Festival, sings the emotions of Lady Macbeth in rich detail. This is a video clip of a performance of "Nabucco" conducted by Emma Dunne. This video captures the true drama of the simple stage, which was directed by Emma Dante without any foreign elements and with the help of Gabriele Ferro, who attracted much attention for his guest appearance in "Don Carlo" at the Nikikai in 2014.
