The Comet is Coming, led by Shabaka Hutchings, presents its fourth album. The Comet is Coming is a cosmic jazz trio consisting of Danalog (Dan Levers) on synthesizer, Shabaka (Shabaka Hutchings) on saxophone, and Betamax (Max Hallett) on drums. Based in London and nominated for a Mercury Prize, the trio's unique synthesizer, saxophone, and drums composition has been rocking dance floors across genres such as punk rock, jazz, and trance. This album was recorded at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios in England. With the band's longtime engineer, Christian Craig Robinson, the trio recorded for four days. This 180g vinyl LP is a collection of songs that are both profound and cohesive in their musical message.
