The L333 King Tiger Pleco is a visually striking Hypancistrus species known for its bold striped pattern. It is omnivorous but leans heavily toward protein-rich foods. Unlike wood-eating plecos, L333s do not require driftwood in their diet.

Primary Diet

• High-Protein Sinking Pellets: Serve as the main dietary staple.
• Frozen & Live Foods: Includes bloodworms, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and insect larvae.

Supplemental Foods

• Vegetables: Accepts blanched zucchini, cucumber, and spinach occasionally.
• Algae Wafers: Can be offered as a minor dietary addition.
• Wood: Not required, but driftwood may provide hiding spots and enrichment.

Feeding Tips:

• Feed after lights go out to align with nocturnal behavior.
• Ensure multiple hiding spots to minimize territorial disputes.
• Keep water parameters stable; L333s are sensitive to poor water quality.
