Riv-Nail Manual Multi-Tool RNAT-36-MDA2 is the manual (non-powered) Riv-Nail application tool sized for 36-inch belt widths with a 7/16" (11.1 mm) heavy-duty gauge rod. Compatible with the R-5 1/2, R-6, TR-6, and R-8 fastener series.

Hammer is NOT included. A 32 oz dead-blow hammer (or similar 1-3 lb well-balanced hammer) is required to drive the rivets.

What it does: The RNAT is the patented manual single-rivet driver for installing Riv-Nail rivet hinged belt fasteners. Only a 32 oz dead-blow hammer (or similar 1-3 lb well-balanced hammer, sold separately) and the application tool are needed. An average of three blows fully sets each rivet.

What is included: The RNAT body sized to a 36-inch belt width, one rivet guide block, and the 7/16" gauge rod that controls the splice during installation. Hammer is not included.

Belt-width sizing: The RNAT body must match or exceed the belt width for proper rivet placement. This 36-inch unit covers belt widths up to 36 inches in a single setup. For wider belts, splice in two passes or use a wider RNAT.

When to choose RNAT vs MRNAT: The RNAT is a single-rivet driver (one rivet per blow) and is the most economical Riv-Nail tool. It is fine for occasional splices and small shops. For high-volume installation or production environments, the MRNAT multi-driver kit drives 5 rivets per blow.
