Riv-Nail Size 1 Rivets are zinc dichromate plated steel rivets for belts 3/16 to 1/4 inch and washers.

What is in the package:

• 250 rivet assemblies in a box
• Each assembly: 1 semi-tubular rivet pre-paired with 1 pilot nail
• Pilot nail guides the rivet through the belt and shears off as the rivet sets

Each rivet is an assembly of a semi-tubular rivet and a pilot nail. The pilot nail guides the rivet through the belt into the anvil setting tool, then shears off as the rivet upsets and clinches the fastener plates. Compatible with MATO R-2, R-3, TR-4, R-5 Riv-Nail fastener strips.

Material: Zinc dichromate plated steel rivets offer higher corrosion resistance than standard zinc silver plating. Gold color-coded for visual identification. Should not be used in corrosive applications where stainless is required.

With Washers: Washers distribute clinching load across a larger belt surface area, improving pull-out resistance on soft or worn belt covers. Recommended for older belts, belts with cover damage, or high-tension applications.

Installation tools: Install with the RNAT manual single-rivet driver, MRNAT multi-rivet driver kit, RNAPD air-powered driver, RNBH-1 battery hammer, or RNEH-1 corded electric hammer.

Packaging note: Available in 250/box (standard), 1,000/carton (Quick Load RNQL), or 2,000/bucket (-2M). Each package includes matching rivets and pilot nails. Bucket Opener tool available for bulk packs.
