The Legacy Queen Plate XT Front Unclipped LEG SAVER is based on the Traditional Queen Plate, enhanced with the added strength, support, and performance features of the Legacy Series.

This XT version features a hardened steel XT toe grab that protrudes 0.080" (2 mm) above the aluminum surface, providing additional traction while maintaining a smooth and balanced racing profile.

Part of our Legacy Series, this plate is thicker, wider, and stronger than traditional racing plates. The improved tapered sole relief helps reduce sole pressure and minimize bruising, while additional nail holes provide greater flexibility in nailing. An improved overall shape and deeper fullering help keep nail heads tight and secure.

This version includes the LEG SAVER bonded rim pad, made from tough yet resilient rubber vulcanized directly onto the sole of the shoe. LEG SAVER helps absorb impact, reduce sole bruising, and provide added comfort for tender-footed horses.

Updated with 2025 retooling, this plate now features a cleaner, brighter surface finish and a more consistent, standardized nail hole pattern for improved nailing accuracy and security.

The unclipped design provides a clean profile and greater flexibility in fitting.
