Inang Bayan sits atop a carabao, a beast of labor as they are lifted from the chaotic waves by four figures, perhaps warriors ready to save the motherland from peril.

A smaller figure in the middle holds out their hand in supplication, hoping for a better fate amidst trials and tribulations. Meanwhile, behind are 2 sarimanoks (a legendary bird from Maranao) about to battle, alluding to the ever-popular sabong (rooster fights).

Sarimanoks represent hope, while the rooster fights represent the battles and perhaps reckless gambling that is necessary for a better tomorrow. Written on the waves is our national anthem in modern Baybayin (Philippine script), a reminder of our duties and obligations to our mother country.

The title roughly translates to: "Uplifting the Motherland in the Midst of Challenges".
