S45-1600:Cat6 Unshielded Pass-Through RJ45 Modular Plugs

Designed to work with unshielded twisted pair (UTP) LAN cables, the Simply45 S45-1600 Cat6 UTP Unshielded RJ45 Pass-Through Modular Plug connects onto 24 AWG solid and 28-26 AWG stranded LAN cables up to 0.27" in diameter. One-hundred single piece pass-through modular RJ45 plugs come packed inside of a convenient plastic jar, which work with most Cat6 cables in a straight-line arrangement. Each plug features a 3-prong pin design with 50μ 24kt gold plating to help deliver high electrical conductivity and a stronger connection to wire conductors and has a light green tint for easy identification. These modular plugs are rated to work with PoE and PoH devices.

Simply45 S45-1600 Pass-Through RJ45 Modular Plug(s) Features

Single Piece Design: The S45-1600 is a single-piece, unshielded pass-through RJ45 modular plug designed for unshielded LAN cables, eliminating the need for a load bar. It supports performance standards ANSI/TIA 568.2-D for Cat6 and ISO/IEC 11801 Class E.

3-Prong Pin Design with 50µ Gold Plating: Our RJ45 plugs utilize a 3-prong pin design with 50µ of 24ct gold plating, providing three contact points for improved electrical performance and signal integrity compared to the standard 2-prong design. This design ensures a stronger connection and better reliability.

Compatibility with Solid and Stranded LAN Cables: The S45-1600 is suitable for solid 23 AWG Cat6 UTP LAN cables with a maximum diameter of 7.0 mm (0.276”), and also works well with stranded unshielded LAN cables such as those used in patch cords. For cables with thicker jackets or larger diameters, consider the S45-1700.

Straight-Line Wire Insert: Features a straight-line wire insertion method, accommodating 23-24 AWG solid and 28-26 AWG stranded LAN cables with conductor sizes from 0.95 mm to 1.05 mm (0.037” to 0.041”). For larger conductor sizes, see our S45-1700 or S45-1700P models.

Improved Crosstalk Performance: The S45-1600’s design allows for deeper cable insertion, reducing untwisted wire length and improving NEXT performance. For cables with larger wire diameters, we recommend the S45-1700 or S45-1700P.

Commercial Rated: UL94 V0 (IEC 60695-11-10) rated, making it suitable for commercial installations including CMP Plenum, CMR, CM, and LSZH up to B2ca-rated LAN cables.

Color Tinted for Easy Identification: The S45-1600 comes with a light green tint for easy identification, and all Simply45 RJ45 modular plugs are color-coded for convenience.

Wide Mouth Jar for Easy Access: Designed with a wide mouth jar, allowing easy access to the last plug without needing to spill out the contents.

Color-Coded Jar Caps: The jar cap is green, matching the tint of the plug for easy identification and efficient organization.
