Artist bio: Gunes Caglarcan is a multidisciplinary artist based in Istanbul and Los Angeles, working at the intersection of painting and music. His practice explores perception, memory, and emotion, often using psycho-visual elements to challenge how we see and experience the world. Blending his backgrounds in piano and visual art, he creates immersive works and collaborative installations that bridge sound and image.

Caglarcan studied at Istanbul University Conservatory and the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, and also holds an MBA. He first gained recognition with his Shadows Collection and continues to expand this vision through The Shadows Experience, an ongoing audio-visual project developed with his brother.
