In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll get an introduction to key woodworking tools and techniques while crafting two standout pieces: a sleek wooden tray and a beautiful glued-up charcuterie board. Whether you're new to woodworking or looking to expand your skills, this course is the perfect place to start.

What You'll Experience:

• Hands-On Learning: Focus on practical, real-world woodworking skills. Our experienced instructors will guide you through each project, answering questions and providing support as you go.

• Project Focus: You’ll complete two exciting projects—a functional wooden tray and a multi-wood charcuterie board—designed to boost your confidence and reinforce core skills.

• Skill Building: Along the way, you’ll learn:

  • Tool and machine setup
  • Layout drawing and accurate measurements
  • Rough cutting and squaring stock
  • Joinery techniques (45° miters, dados, biscuits)
  • Using routers, dowel jigs, and Kreg pocket jigs
  • Setting up stop blocks for precision
  • Glue-ups, sanding, and applying a Tung oil finish

• Advanced Techniques: When working on the charcuterie board, you’ll also learn how to handle face-to-face and edge-to-edge gluing, square up large panels, and finish your project with food-safe oils.
