Dating from the early 19th century, this cast iron fireplace was a salesman's sample. This is a very rare example as it retains the original miniature brass fire irons. This five piece set comprises fender, grill, fire tongs, shovel and poker, all in very good condition. The antique iron fireplace is cast with oak leaves and acorns to the side panels, crest of royal coat of arms and stands on a plain hearth and four paw feet. This antique cast iron fireplace is a fabulous example of 19th Century design and style. A very special item to display or add to a collection.
