At times, Block-Printed Khadi Stole plays it safe, things nobody objects to and nobody remembers. The Glyph stole is not that. The design draws from the visual language of ancient mark-making, creatures rendered in bold, doodled strokes that look like they belong on a cave wall rather than a design table. Each motif was sketched on paper, plotted on a graph sheet, and carved into a wooden block before being hand-printed in Bengaluru onto 120-count ambara charkha handspun, handwoven pure cotton khadi using azo-free reactive dyes. The check khadi ground shifts across the length, and the scale of the print makes this one genuinely hard to ignore. If you want a stole that starts a conversation before you say a word, the Glyph is it.
Size: 36” wide and 86” in length | 90 Cms x 220 Cms
Colour: Bainbridge blue and Spanish red.
Weight: 100 grams/stole.
Care: Handwash in cold water. Use mild/no detergent. Dry in the shade.
Note: Two sides of the stole have a finished selvedge, and the other two have raw edges. The yarn is strong and will not unravel when washed. If you prefer a finished edge, you can add tassels, hand hem it at home, or ask a local tailor for help.
