Carlos Santana's album "The Swing of Delight" released in 1980 is truly a miracle album. Carlos Santana was joined by V.S.O.P., the much talked-about jazz group led by Herbie Hancock, and the fusion of Latin rock and jazz created a new kind of Santana music. The following year, in 1981, the album was reproduced live at an outdoor jazz festival. The concert was a great success, with new arrangements of Herbie Hancock's and Santana's most famous songs performed along with the songs from this joint album.
