Burial
Description:
The first full-length work by the lone genius Brial in the 2020s is now complete! Burial, one of the most original artists of the decade, has released his first full-length album in 15 years, Antidawn, on Hyperdub, following the release of his masterful debut album Burial in 2006 and his second album Untrue in 2007, which was hailed as "the most important electronic music of the century". Burial's second album "Untrue" (2007) was hailed as "the most important piece of electronic music of the century", and although his true identity is still unknown, he has fascinated many music fans and influenced many artists. Since "Untrue," he has mainly released 12-inch albums, and in addition to his own original works, he has released split works with Thom Yorke and the Four Tet, and collaborated with Massive Attack. This work documents a distillation of Brial's concepts and a vaporization of his thoughts on darkness. When I play this adventurous piece on the speakers in my room, I am transported to some other world, blending in with the sounds of daily life, such as the ticking of the clock and people's voices coming from outside the window. It is definitely a dark night, but the darker it is, the brighter the stars shine. The domestic CD includes a commentary by Tsutomu Noda (ele-king).
