[Toru Takemitsu: 25 Years After His Death UHQCD Masterpiece Selection] To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the death of Toru Takemitsu, one of Japan's most famous composers, Deutsche Grammophon and Decca have carefully selected and reissued the masterpieces of his works. These 10 titles include albums that have been difficult to obtain in recent years, all of which are being reissued on UHQCD for the first time. This series is the perfect way to trace the achievements of a man who left behind many masterpieces in a wide variety of styles. Signals from Heaven," labeled "Greetings from a close friend," the world premiere recording of "Dream Quotes," and the musical tapestry "Twil by Twilight," are all available on UHQCD for the first time.
