Why this kit matters

The Ilyushin IL-28 Beagle was the first jet bomber to enter large scale service with the Soviet Union after the Second World War. It flew for the first time in 1948 and became one of the most widely produced jet bombers of its era. The aircraft served across Eastern Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
