Description:
KISS, the legendary band that has released numerous multi-platinum albums and been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is releasing a new live album from its own collection! KISS "Off The Soundboard: Poughkeepsie, NY 1984" is the only soundboard recording of KISS with third generation guitarist Mark St. John. The "Animalize World Tour" was a success with a lineup that only existed for a short time: Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Carr, and guitarist Mark St. John. This film, "Off the Soundboard: Poughkeepsie, NY 1984," documents the legendary band in the midst of its U.S. tour. Included in the 18-song set are songs from that era such as "Creatures of the Night," "I Love It Loud," and "Rick It Up," as well as the 1984 hit "Heaven's On Fire," which reached #49 on the U.S. Billboard charts. The 180g weight black vinyl version. Young and Wasted" and "Rock And Roll All Nite" were originally recorded for preservation purposes, so the tracks were cut off in the middle of each other due to loss during tape changes, insufficient tape, etc. Although the tracks are incomplete, they are historically significant due to the fact that St. John was on the recordings. However, the fact that St. John participated in the recording makes it a historically important live recording.
