The Vortex Optics Crossfire 1.5-5.5x32 CFR-1501i Scout Scope is a variable zoom scope for scout rifles and handguns. It has a 1” tube and is compatible with 1” rings or mounts.

The HD optical system is designed with select glass to provide clear images, reduce color distortion, allow excellent light transmission, and visual edge-to-edge sharpness.

Designed as a close-range hunting scope, the 1.5X magnification provides quick acquisition of short-range targets while the large 32mm objective diameter gives a large field of view even in low-light conditions – 6.8 feet at 5.5X zoom at 100 yards. The lenses are multi-coated to increase light transmission for better clarity in low-light conditions.

This scope offers an extended and wider range of eye relief when compared to a traditional rifle scope. This makes it ideal for solution for scout rifles and handguns.

The Illuminated Dead-Hold 2A BDC MOA Reticle is an MOA reticle that includes BDC (Bullet Drop Compensation) hash marks that make it easy to estimate holdovers at varying distances. The illuminated center dot provides fast, precise aiming in low light. The dot can be turned on and off as needed and has 6 brightness levels.

This is a Second Focal Plane (SFP) scope, meaning that the reticle stays the same size as the shooter changes the magnification of the scope. The reticle is calibrated at the highest magnification setting.

The aircraft grade aluminum body is anodized with a low-glare matte black coating. The body of the scope is waterproof, shockproof, and the coated lenses are fog proof.

The adjustment turrets have tactile clicks that provide the shooter with clear feedback. They provide 15 MOA of adjustment per revolution and ¼ MOA of adjustment per click. The elevation and windage adjustments both have 100 MOA of range.

After zeroing, the adjustment turrets can be reindexed to the “0” mark. This makes it easy to return the scope to the original zero after adjusting for conditions and range.

The Fast-Focus eyepiece includes an ocular focus adjustment, allowing the shooter to adjust the clarity of the reticle to match their eyesight. The eyepiece also includes a magnification ring for magnification adjustments.
