Italian pianist Stefano Battaglia makes his ECM debut with "Raccolto" in 2003, focusing on Bill Evans and Paul Bley, whom he admires greatly. Battaglia, who has worked on tributes to Italian film director Pasolini and others, will be joined by American composer Alec Wilder, known for his popular songs, chamber music, and operas sung by Peggy Lee, the Mills Brothers, Frank Sinatra, and others.
