TPS - THROTTLE POSITION SENSORSThe throttle position sensor on your throttle body transmits position information to the Electronic Control Module (ECM). It consists of mechanical parts which may become worn and require replacement. A malfunctioning throttle position sensor will relay bad data to your ECM and usually results in poor fuel economy.
