His successor Kris Van Assche had a similar design language to Hedi for his 11 year period as creative director for Dior. After he graduated in 1998 and moved to Paris he was appointed as Hedi Slimane’s assistant for his Rive Gauche Homme line for Yves Saint Laurent.
