How to Use

Step 1 – Create the “Hidden Germs”

Lightly dust GlitterBug® Powder onto surfaces, objects, or hands using the brush. The powder is normally difficult to see under regular lighting.

Step 2 – Start the Investigation

Allow students or participants to interact with the surfaces to demonstrate how contamination spreads from one area to another.

Step 3 – Clean the Area

Ask participants to clean the surfaces or wash their hands as they normally would.

Step 4 – Use the UV Torch

Turn on the UV torch and inspect the surfaces or hands. Any glowing areas reveal where “germs” are still hiding.

Step 5 – Learn & Improve
