Steitzhof’s goal is to live productively and leave behind the best footprint on our land as possible. We strive to grow quality fine wool that hand spinners will love. Our sheep grow the wool while we manage their food source using regenerative grazing practices. The sheep grow that future sweater while making the soil healthier. Healthy soil builds healthy pasture grasses with deeper roots. A population of worms, bugs, fungi and microorganisms grows and prospers beneath the surface.
