A British pop masterpiece by George Martin that even Beatlemaniacs must hear! David & Jonathan are the British pop duo of Roger Greenaway & Roger Cook, a songwriting duo that has provided hits for The Fortunes, Gary Lewis & The Playboys, Whistling Jack, White Plains, and others. Their only album (1966) was produced by George Martin's A.I.R. Productions, and in addition to their excellent original songs, which combine sublime vocal harmonies and melodic tunes, the album also features excellent covers of Beatles songs "Michelle" and "Yesterday. and "Yesterday," as well as excellent covers of Beatles songs.
