This is a genuine Zone VI wood tripod, in good working order, with light cosmetic wear. A very heavy, sturdy tripod, well suited to large format photography. These were hand-made in relatively small quantities, and the hand work shows: the wooden top plate is clearly hand-finished, and the spreader system is just a rope. But that's how they made 'em! And say what you will, but it works. Standard 3/8" thread fitting up top for a tripod head (or a camera with a 3/8" socket) Cosmetic condition is very good, with light wear.
