The members of the string quintet that released the well-received Brahms on the Pentatone label in 2017 (only the second violin has been replaced) are now performing Beethoven's Beethoven. Beethoven by the members of the string quintet (only the second violin was replaced), which was released on the Pentatone label in 2017. The album includes the youthful Op.29 from 1801, the dynamic Op.104 from 1817, which is very full of technique and ideas, and the Fugue Op.137, which was written in the same year and incorporates complex techniques in a very short piece. The deep reading of the score and the supple and powerful ensemble, which are characteristic of the experienced members of the ensemble, convey the charm of the works to the audience in a delightful performance.
