Paolo Zanz plays Bach's "English Suite"! Paolo Zanes, assistant to Christie and Gardiner, plays the "English Suites"! He was appointed professor in the Department of Passing Bass at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in 2011. He has been active as a basso continuo player with the Musiciens du Palais du Louvre and the English Baroque Soloists, as well as an assistant to William Christie at Les Arts Florissants, and in 2016 he conducted Lully's comedy-barre "Mr. Prusonyak" (new production) to great acclaim, He is an accomplished young artist who has garnered significant attention in the world of ancient music. Paolo Zanes, who has been active for many years with the English Baroque Soloists, Les Arts Florissants, the Monteverdi Choir, and Le Cercle de Larmonie, plays a Bach album by Gottfried Zilberman, produced by Antony Saidi & Frederic Bal in 1995. A complete recording of the "English Suites" played on a German harpsichord model made around 1735.The sometimes rough and exciting sound and lively breath of Bach will be recorded and mastered by Manuel Mojino, a renowned producer who is trusted by various old music labels and artists.
