This model is called Bamboo because the shaft is bamboo while the blade is half carbon fiber and half bamboo. The extra flex of this paddle makes it specialized for long-distance races. Although still incredibly light, this model carries 50g more weight on the blade than the fusion. This allows for a more blade heavy paddle that feels solid on the catch. This paddle weighs 500g.

To develop this paddle, Viper Va'a worked closely with the world-famous EDT Va'a team and in particular its steersperson Rete Ebb. The world-famous steersperson for EDT Va'a team won the V1 Super Aito race 4 times using this model.
