The Economy Morgan Recoil Pad uses light weight , black ABS plastic mounting plates.  The #5 has the standard Straight (flat) Shoulder Pad that provides a comfortable surface for the shooter's shoulder.  The Butt Plate measures 1 7/8 inches wide by 5 1/4 inches long, and is meant to be trimmed to match the stock by the installer.  The mounting holes in the Butt Plate are spaced 3 3/16 inches apart.  The recoil pad adjusts up and down (5/8 inch rise, 3/4 inch drop).  By adjusting the amount of squeeze on the recoil absorbing sponge rubber, the feel of the pad can be changed (harder/softer).  All Morgan recoil pads will add about 1 1/4 inches to the length of the stock, and include instructions on mounting and adjustments.  Morgan recoil pads do not rotate or move sideways.
