New Models for Tuba in two parts the X-series

We have now upgraded the range of mouthpieces for Tuba. These are made in two parts, top and shank. The balance and weight is more centered on the top cup, this to create more overtones and quicker response. The model X is quite flat on the top and a more sharpe inner edge. The XS has a rounded rim who gives more versatile feel to the lips and gives slightly more weight to the sound. There are standard shanks that are made to fit the cups as suggested down below. You can also choose between the three different shanks described down below.

Randefalk mouthpieces are V and U shaped at the same time, with its gliding transition to a small cone in the throat. 

You can also buy different sizes of shanks to fit your needs, but keep your favorite top (rim and cup).

Specifications and options on shanks are:

8.0 - 8.0mm throat and 11.40mm back bore (outer back bore is 12.70mm) Recommended for sizes 3 and 4

8.2 - 8.2mm throat and 11.40mm back bore (outer back bore is 12.70mm) Recommended for size 3 and 2

8.2L - 8.2mm throat and 11.80mm back bore (outer back bore is 13.00mm) Recommended for size 1.5 and 1
