Installation & Wiring Pro-Tips

• Wire Gauge Matters: For a 1000W inverter at 12V, you are pulling significant amperage. Use at least 1/0 AWG marine-grade tinned copper cables for runs under 5 feet to prevent voltage drop and overheating.

• Overcurrent Protection: You must install a fuse (typically a 150A ANL or MRBF fuse) on the positive cable as close to the battery bank as possible to protect the vessel from a short circuit.
