All of their uniforms and belts are made by hand. Cut and sewn one by one by artisans whose expertise has been acquired through long years of dedication to their art. Their cotton is unique since it is made with the old technique dating back centuries where it was known for making traditional silk kimonos. Hence, the Tokaido uniforms will actually improve with age and can be worn for many years if properly cared for.

The Tokaido 12 oz Black Traditional Heavyweight Uniform is one of the Master pieces of Tokaido. They are specially made in Japan of a very special 100% cotton canvas. Their unique cotton provides authenticity and and provide maximum durability and comfort. Set includes jacket and traditional drawstring pants. Please note belt is not included. Traditional heavyweights are cut full.
