Overview
The GJD D‑TECT Laser (model GJD505) is a compact, high‑precision laser motion detector that creates virtual curtain‑style detection zones up to 5.0 × 5.0 m. It uses time‑of‑flight laser scanning for movement and presence detection with programmable positional resolution (~10 cm). Designed for perimeter and access protection, the unit is suitable for indoor or outdoor use (IP65) and supports remote programming and alignment aids for installers.

• Curtain‑style detection: Up to four configurable sensing curtains (alarm + pre‑alarm).
• High positional resolution: Programmable ~10 cm resolution with angular resolution ≈ 0.3516° for fine detection and high environmental noise immunity.
• Visible alignment beams: Three red alignment lasers for straightforward installation (visible only during alignment).
• Remote programming & accessories: Supports GJD501 programmer / spotfinder and mounting bracket for commissioning and remote configuration.
• Robust outdoor use: IP65 housing, wide operating temperature range and non‑condensing humidity tolerance.

Typical uses: perimeter intrusion detection, access point/doorway protection, asset safeguarding, and temporary/portable zone protection. Suitable for both installer/trade channels and end‑user security system integration.

Installation & safety notes:

• Requires a 24 VDC supply (refer to datasheet for recommended 3 A supply and inrush details).
• Visible alignment lasers are Class 3R during alignment; primary IR emission is Class 1 (905 nm). Follow local laser safety guidance during installation.
