25% of the sales go directly to the farmer, and help us increase the quantity of broomcorn we can grow. We did a limited run that will not be replenished until next harvest this year.

Pictured are two of the hand brooms we made from these kits: they are an awesome farm-to-home crafting kit, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring so many amazing folks together to make this possible! Let’s keep crafting y’all!

Included in this kit are:

*enough organic broomcorn to make two hand brooms, grown at Lazy Eight Stock Farm

*colored nylon thread for weaving made by Main Thread (choose up to 2 thread colors in the notes section at checkout: Aqua, Cobalt, Olive, Plum, Dusky Blue, Grey, Red or Black

* a threshing comb we made of recycled saw blades and an ash handle (it works great!)

*instructions for weaving in a 20-page recycled, sewn spine booklet made by Lickety Split Press in Nothern Kentucky, with photos by Christina Stallard Photography

*a letter-pressed welcome card

*boxes made of 100% recycled material (made in Colorado and Tennessee)
