Renthunglo Shitiri is an educationist and a poet having a Master's Degree in English Literature (Gold Medal Recipient) Besides Music and teaching, she is passionate about writing the experiences and nuances of life. Based in Dimapur, she is married and is a devoted mother to four daughters. Her earlier published work is 'Of Life' (2015), a collection of poems.

If Austen rewrote the opening of Pride and Prejudice, she would perhaps say, "It is a truth universally acknowledged that love is always tinged with a certain measure of melancholy. A love so intense binds souls, and such a colossal storm of passionis bound to inspire the artistic self.
