This bottle is classified as a London dry gin, but what sets it apart is the careful selection of unique botanicals, which contribute to its distinct character and flavor. Among these botanicals are rowan berries sourced from mountain ash trees, bog myrtle, hawthorn, and heather, all of which provide a taste of the stunning Kerry landscape. After undergoing chill filtration, the gin is bottled at the optimal alcohol by volume (ABV) of 42.5%. To achieve this ABV, the distillery collects the spirit at 70% ABV before cutting it with pure water drawn from their own well, located 240 feet below. To enhance the drinking experience, it is recommended to serve the gin with large ice cubes, a wedge of fresh orange, and a sprinkle of juniper berries.
