Fantastic now. The back slip pocket is a little stretched, and a couple of stitches have popped on the strap (pic shown). It's a pretty easy fix by a shoe maker if you want to do it, but it really doesn't impede the stability of the strap at all. This is a very old bag and it was dryyyy. It has been cleaned with a pH balanced leather cleaner, polished all brass, then conditioning, and then re-conditioning it again, just for good measure. The ultra dry areas got a third treatment. All of the piping and hardware was in good condition; it just needed a lot of TLC to get it back to good. It is absolutely ready to head off on it's next stop in life.
