Vintage 1940s gown of stunning black and fuchsia taffeta. Fitted bodice has snagged black nettling sleeveless illusion neckline, dropped waist look with ruffle edging that extends to a very full, sweeping floor length skirt. Taffeta band at illusion top. The head has been full done with hand work in scallops, so cute! Hidden painted metal zipper. Unlined -may want to wear with a slip.

Condition: Very good. The illusion netting has various little snag tear. Could be worn as is or altered by a seamstress. Taffta is in amazing condition save for two smack tears to lower side shirt which get lost in the fullness of skirt. It's so worth saving!
