The caffeine in this coffee has been removed naturally using the ethyl acetate process: the coffee beans are steamed and soaked in a mixture of water and ethyl acetate to gently extract the caffeine. After a few rounds of rinsing and steaming, the beans are caffeine-free and residue-free.
