The Maxim 48-inch 3-point hitch plug aerator is built for properties where surface spiking is not enough. Its spoon-style plug tines remove soil cores to help air, water, and nutrients reach the root zone, which supports healthier turf recovery after compaction.

The steel drum accepts up to 32 gallons of water ballast for added down pressure when working tougher soil. A 1-inch drum shaft with greasable ball bearings supports the drum, while replaceable spoons make long-term maintenance more practical than a throwaway tine setup.

This model is designed around a 48-inch working width with 102 plug tines, transport-only pneumatic tires, and a tow-behind, 3-point hitch mounting setup for larger residential, acreage, and grounds-care jobs.
