The AVPro Edge AC-EXO-X-KIT is a 40Gbps HDMI 2.1 fiber optic extender kit built for high bandwidth 8K and high frame rate 4K signal extension over multi-mode fiber. It is designed to preserve original image fidelity for demanding Pro AV and NextGen AV installations. Use it to extend HDMI video, audio, and control signals with near-zero latency performance.

Engineered around an HDMI 2.1 fiber interface module, it uses a hyper-precise, beam-focusing lens assembly to help prevent refraction and downline light scatter. A custom AVPro Edge Link Training algorithm with forward error correction analysis monitors Fixed Rate Link status and restrains Link Training bandwidth reductions. The receiver includes dual-HDMI outputs, with HDMI Output 2 performing downscaling including auto-sensing.

This extender supports advanced HDR workflows and mixed-resolution system design with comprehensive EDID management. Configurable, bidirectional IR and RS-232 control signal management can consolidate wiring to a solo pull while maintaining reliable control transport. With latency less than 8 microseconds, it delivers a measurable but visually imperceptible delay for high performance AV distribution.
