Matured and bottled by Claxton's for their Warehouse No. 1 series, this blend features malt distilled in 2016 at Springbank, Kilkerran, and Glen Scotia distilleries aged for 8 years in a first fill ex-PX Sherry Hogshead cask.  The blend was bottled without chill filtration or color added at a cask strength of 103.6 proof.  Only 339 bottles were produced.  The nose is unmistakably Campbeltown with the signature earthy, oily funk along with cake batter, honeyed heather, raisin, fig, and a touch of baking spice.  The palate begins with sweet sherry notes of golden raisin and honey along with light baking spice before the cake batter and oily lactic funk of the Campbeltown malts arrive.  The earthy, machine oil funk carries through a medium length finish and is joined by baking spice, red fruit, and tingly ginger.
