This tropical yeast species is isolated from lychee and mangosteen peels. Studies have shown the effectiveness of the Saccharomyces boulardii bacterial strain in rebuilding the microbiota.

It has a very beneficial effect on the functioning of the intestines and the entire digestive system and supports the intestinal microbiota during antibiotic therapy.
