On my last trip to Nepal, I was visiting a wood block printing workshop when I spotted this very old discarded block. I made a quick print on paper, then drew and painted over it, and put it in repeat. Voil…, my favorite new rug design. Subtle distressing and vintage patina details are accentuated by the blend of olefin and polyester shrink yarns in this machine-made construction.
