The 156th Military Police Detachment served under the 151st MP Battalion of the West Virginia Army National Guard with a singular mandate: Law and Order. Where others maintained the perimeter, the 156th enforced the standard — upholding military law, protecting personnel, and ensuring order prevailed wherever they were called to serve.

This is a tribute to the soldiers of the 156th MP Det who wore the brassard with authority and answered the call — stateside or deployed — without hesitation.
