Description
The lightest of the light, our sub-12oz Plex Solo is easily the lightest full-featured one-person tent in the world. Designed for adventurers who value weight but aren't willing to sacrifice performance or comfort, the Plex Solo is the ultimate shelter for weight-conscious hikers looking to redefine boundaries and push limits.
Easily pitching with a single 52" (132 cm) trekking pole or tent pole, the Plex Solo Lite has a small footprint that can squeeze into the tightest backcountry campsites.
Available in two different Dyneema® Composite Fabric canopy and floor weights.
Features
Made from waterproof, durable, PFAS free, Dyneema® Composite Fabric:
- Choose "Lite" to push boundaries with our tried and tested .55 oz/sqyd DCF canopy, .75 oz/sqyd DCF floor.
- Choose “Standard” to add opacity and extra durability with a .75 oz/sqyd DCF canopy, 1 oz/sqyd DCF floor.
- Sets up with a single 52” (132 cm) Trekking Pole or Tent Pole, and just 6 to 10 Stakes (each sold separately).
- LineLoc V adjusters allow you to lock in the perfect pitch. Bright yellow 1.6 mm Z-Line Guylines are easy to see day or night to avoid tripping.
- Overlapping storm doors allow for a small amount of airflow without the need for additional venting. There are no zippers on the doors that could potentially fail over time. Keep one door closed for vestibule space, or open both for views and airflow. Fully enclosed .67 oz/sqyd ultralight insect netting keeps even the smallest insects out and adds ventilation around the perimeter.
- The screen door has a rainbow zipper which allows easy entry regardless of which storm door is closed. You can access your shoes or wet backpack in the vestibule area on either side. The screen door conveniently drops inwards rather than hanging in your way. No need to roll it up or secure it.
- Fully enclosed .67 oz/sqyd ultralight insect netting keeps even the smallest insects out and adds ventilation around the perimeter.
- The bathtub floor has tall walls and is recessed from the perimeter to keep you protected from splash-up and condensation. In calm rain or under wet trees one or both doors can be left open for air flow without water dripping or falling into your living space.
- For even better rain protection with a door open, the screen door can be pulled back away from the rain spray using the cords at the end of the floor.
- Tall hikers can add even more head and foot room by propping up the side guylines with Trekking Pole Cups. Or consider the Pivot Solo Tent for more headroom and zipper storm doors.
- The durable floor material does not require a separate groundsheet. Flat Groundsheets are an optional precaution.
- A pocket is included at the front-center of the floor for stowing the tent stuff sack, your glasses, phone, etc. The pocket is easy to reach from inside or outside the tent.
- Built with high quality #3 YKK Zippers. All zipper sliders are field-replaceable. Repair tape and spare sliders are included. Washing Instructions.
- All Zpacks gear has a two-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Please see our return / warranty policy.
- Designed and assembled in the USA from domestic and imported components.
