– W swojej pracy używam aerografu, który pozwala mi tworzyć płynne przejścia tonalne i subtelne kontury, a także ostre, niemal chirurgicznie „cięte” krawędzie, nadając obrazom wizualną głębię i wielowarstwowość, kontrastującą z efektem estetycznym przypominającym banery reklamowe, GIF’y i filtry wypełniające współczesną rzeczywistość. Poprzez tę specyficzną metodę malowania staram się uchwycić ulotne chwile życia i emocji, podkreślając ich znaczenie i uniwersalność. W rezultacie powstające obrazy mogą stać się nie tylko wyrazem osobistych doświadczeń, ale także zaproszeniem do głębszej analizy współczesnych realiów i kondycji ludzkiej – opowiada Helena.

Helena Minginowicz (ur. 1984, Poznań) – absolwentka Wydziału Architektury i Wzornictwa Uniwersytetu Artystycznego im. Magdaleny Abakanowicz w Poznaniu (2011). Finalistka konkursu Bielska Jesień 2023, mieszka i pracuje w Poznaniu. Prezentowała swoje prace na wystawach indywidualnych i zbiorowych: Kłamstwa lata (Galeria Dystans, Kraków, 2023), Historie dnia powszedniego (Galeria M, Wrocław, 2023), Piękne Stworzenia (Inkubator Kultury PIREUS, Poznań, 2022), Kochankowie idealni (Galeria Miejska, Środa Wielkopolska, 2021) Wszystko o gwiazdach (Galeria Peryskop, Poznań, 2020). W 2025 roku jej prace zostaną pokazane na kilku wystawach w Polsce i za granicą: Prima Gallery (Paryż), Hesse Flatow (Nowy Jork), Galeria Lotna (Warszawa).

Helena Minginowicz's serigraph "(not) to see you soon" from her ethereal advertising series.

– In my work, I use an airbrush, which allows me to create smooth tonal transitions and subtle contours, as well as sharp, almost surgically "cut" edges, giving the images visual depth and multi-layeredness, contrasted with an aesthetic effect reminiscent of advertising banners, GIFs, and filters that fill contemporary reality. Through this specific painting method, I seek to capture fleeting moments of life and emotions, emphasizing their significance and universality. As a result, the emerging images can become not only an expression of personal experiences but also an invitation to a deeper analysis of contemporary realities and the human condition. – add Helena.

Helena Minginowicz (b. 1984, Poznań) - graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań (2011). Finalist of the Bielska Jesień 2023 contest, she lives and works in Poznań.
