Cosentino Winery has produced wines for 35 years from two of California's finest growing regions, Napa Valley and Lodi. Bold maroon hues hint at this wine’s intensity. Scents of vanilla, cedar and dried herbs rise from the glass. The palate is layered with flavors of black cherry, currant and baking chocolate with hints of cracked black pepper leading to the supple finish. The grapes for THE Franc were hand-harvested in Lodi, an AVA known to benefit from the cooling Delta influence. The 2019 harvest was notably even and steady, providing balanced yields of quality fruit, allowing us to craft a wine with both freshness and depth of fruit; perfect to enjoy now, no further cellaring required.
